Nothing could be further from the truth…

This was sent to me from a friend and I thought I would share it to help others who are struggling in our tougher economy, with whatever you do for a living.

 

In the kind of market we’re in, it can sometimes seem impossible to grow your business.  NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH.  A situation is only impossible if you THINK it is.  Impossible isn’t a condition, it’s a state of mind.  You have only to look at the way people have overcome incredible odds to realize that ANYTHING is possible if you set yur mind and heart to it.  Some of the most iconic figures in American history came through incrdible adversities BEFORE they achieved their well recognized and deserved successes:

 

 

   a.. He was told he wasn’t “qualified” to manage a real estate office for a large successful real estate firm in Southern California.  20 years or so later, he had built the largest franchised real estate company in Southern California doing over a BILLION DOLLARS in sales a MONTH!!  - Steve Games

 

 

  b. He was told at an early age that he had NO TALENT for music.  Today his name is synonomous with quality music!  - Ludwig Von Beethoven

 

 c. He FLUNKED the 1st grade and then went on as an adult to become the Attorney General of the United States and Candidate for President.  - Robert F. Kennedy

 

 d. He struggled through over a THOUSAND experiments that FAILED to produce the desired result and then perfected ONE that became what we know as the light bulb.  -Thomas Edison

 

 e. They worked tirelessly in the face of stiff competition and were told by others that the odds to get new customers were too long for their success to happen.  They DOUBLED their business while everyone else was shrinking in 2008-2009!!  - YOU (do you believe?)

 

RalphWaldo Emerson once said “Self trust is the first secret of success.”  Winners ALWAYS see themselves as winning somehow, some way.  It’s that toughness of mindset that makes such a huge difference in the outcome.  The CONSTANT FAITH IN ONESELF that changes adversity into VICTORY.  Imagine how hard it must have been for these people to continue to BELIEVE in THEMSELVES through all the setbacks adversities and obstacles!!

 

 

Maintain a CLEAR picture of what YOU want and GO FOR IT!  Sometimes it takes more effort or experience or just GUTS but if you KEEP TRYING you can catch up with the odds and turn it around to your favor!  MAKE THE LIST, MAKE CALLS, GET NEW CUSTOMERS.  YOU ARE OMNIPOTENT!!
